FIREFIGHTERS spent hours tackling a large fire on a Lakeland fellside
Six appliances, a wildfire unit and a command unit attended the incident near to Esthwaite Farm, Wasdale, at about 5.50pm on Saturday.
The fire covered an area of about two acres and was extinguished using wildfire equipment and hose reel jets.
Firefighters were initially at the scene for about four hours before the fire reignited.
