MILLOM'S Kirkstanton Village Hall received £25,000 from Copeland’s Community Fund for the venue’s refurbishment and extension plans.
Venue trustee, Victoria Markendale, stated the other groups around the Combe area helped fund the project, including CGP Books, Sellafield, Cumbria Exchange, and charity Bernard Sunley, with the latter providing £10,000.
