The new location for the Pennington Bike nights has proved a great success.
Organiser Neil McDougall decided on the move following complaints at the previous Bardsea venue, despite the gatherings raising much needed funds for the Air Ambulance services.
A huge turnout of riders on a variety of machines enjoyed a pleasant night discussing the virtues of their own particular models over a cup of coffee - can’t wait for the next one on Tuesday, May 28.
The newly formed branch of the Vintage Motorcycle Club are holding their first meeting next Tuesday at the Ulverston Sports and Social club in Priory Road from 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
At their inaugural meeting, John Silcock was elected chairman, Scott Thompson and Chris Smith joint secretaries, with Scott also acting as treasurer and Janet Smith web page coordinator.
