Irish country singer Lisa Stanley and her band play at Threlkeld Village Hall tonight.
Lisa has become one of the best-known faces on the country music scene throughout Ireland and the UK over the past few years.
Her parents Maisie McDaniel and Fintan Stanley were both entertainers and her weekly appearances as presenter on Sky TV’s The Phil Mack International Country Show and Keep It Country Music have made her a well-known face on the UK country music world.
She recently started her own country music TV show called The Lisa Stanley Show .
She now divides her time between Ireland and the UK and as well as the TV series, performs all across the UK and Ireland.
Her show includes singalong and foot-stamping songs from country classics to pop and rock ’n’ roll as well as her own tunes from her four studio albums.
