RESIDENTS have voiced their anger after a group of youths left a burnt-out pile of litter and camping equipment at a popular beauty spot.
Villagers in Askam say waste has been dumped by the group for a number of nights in a row over the weekend.
A tent, camping chairs and a large quantity of bottles and cans have been dumped at Blacks Pond.
Some civic-minded residents have cleared the mess but called for those responsible to have more consideration for where they live and to take home any litter.
Fly-tipping can be reported to the council on 01229 876543.
