BOSSES at Barrow AFC are preparing themselves for an influx of more than 1,000 fancy-dress clad supporters from Hartlepool on Bank Holiday Monday.
Hundreds of supporters from the North-East are expected to pack into Holker Street - dressed as knight.
Hartlepool's annual end of season fancy dress spectacular has become a tradition among supporters - and this year is no different.
So much so, AFC bosses have released an official sword policy.
In a post shared on their Facebook page, the club said: "As over 1,100 Hartlepool supporters head to the Furness Building Society Stadium, we want everyone to have a great day with us. In order to keep all supporters safe on match day, the following policy will be in place
1. Please, please, please don't bring a real sword to the stadium
2. Inflatable.soft swords will be permitted entry into the ground and onto the terraced/seated areas
3. Any swords made out of metal/wood/hard plastic will be 'checked in; at the turnstiles and returned to supporters at the end of the game.
