South Cumbria Magistrates' Court at Barrow.
A MAN has been convicted of assault after appearing in court.
Steven Rapka, of Sandringham Close in Barrow, was fined £625 for the offence.
A court heard the 40-year-old assaulted Craig Wilson by beating him on July 21 last year.
Having pleaded not guilty, he appeared South Cumbria Magistrates Court and was told to pay £300 in costs and a £63 surcharge on top of the fine.
