JOHN Woodcock was among MPs to back a vote giving backbenchers control of the parliamentary timetable.
The member for Barrow and Furness voted in favour of an amendment that could allow MPs to put forward alternatives to the Prime Minister's Brexit deal.
The vote passed 329 votes to 302 on Monday night.
