FIREFIGHTERS were forced to remain at a property for over two hours following a chimney fire in Barrow.
At around 11pm firefighters from Barrow were called to a fire on Walney Road on Thursday (March 21).
Crews used the Aerial Ladder Platform to fight the fire from the chimney stack and utilised a hose reel jet, thermal imaging camera and chimney gear.
Crews were there for around for two and a half hours.
