A MAN who died suddenly has been named.
Police said they were called to a house near on Barrow's Chatsworth Street at 7.30am yesterday after receiving calls expressing concerns about the welfare of a person.
They said a man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene.
He has been named locally as Matthew Edwards.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
His family and the coroner have both been informed.
