On October 14 Professor Angus Winchester takes a look at unusual Cumbrian names in local history.
His presentation is called Tyson and Todhunters, Mungoe and Lancelot.
Mike Winstanley is the speaker on November 11 with a talk called Outside the Law.
This will look at crime, policing and punishment, the development of county police forces and the changing role of Cumbrian prisons.
On December 9 Bill Myers is the guest speaker on the history of pubs and breweries in South Cumbria.
