A MENTAL health fundraising event will see a host of runners race through Barrow park accompanied by live music.

Move 4 Music will take place on Sunday March 24 and see runners traverse the park in 2km, 5km and 10km fun runs.

The event is to raise money for mental health charity Mind in Furness and was organised by Dan Webber and Craig Troth.

Fifteen music acts will entertain runners along the route, including X Factor contestant Gregor Coleman who received praise from judges Simon Cowell and Alicia Dixon.

It makes up one of the events as part of Mr Webber's funding drive to raise awareness of mental health issues, Kick Off 4 Mental Health.

He has also been a supporter of The Mail's Time To Talk campaign, which aims to tackle the stigma around mental health issues.
