A MAN accused of possessing a Samurai sword in public has appeared in court.
Anthony Carr, 31, of Furness Place, Askam, will go on trial at Preston Crown Court on April 12 after appearing in court at Barrow.
Mr Carr has been charged with possessing the blade at Kirkby-in-Furness without lawful authority or reasonable excuse on March 12.
