YOUNG dancers impressed the audiences at two sell-out shows at Barrow’s Forum 28 which raised more than £600 for charity 12 years ago.
There was a wide range of dance styles on offer from 80 performers at All That Dance event, featuring both modern pop music and classics from the movie Grease.
The Mail, on January 19 in 2007, noted that the dancers also performed a tribute piece to legendary Broadway choreographer Bob Fosse.
He was an Oscar winner for his direction of Cabaret and won eight Tony Awards before his death in 1987.
Dance teacher Natalie O’Kane said: “It is a nice chance to show off the kids’ ability because some people are more into acting and signing for example.”
It was the Furness dance school’s sixth annual show.
Rehearsals for the summer shows and parade days were due to start shortly.
