Tank Square roundabout, Ulverston
A DRIVER who crashed into a lamppost and failed to stop has been given 10 penalty points.
South Cumbria Magistrates Court was told Sam Pickering, of West View Road, Barrow, hit a lamppost on Tank Square, Ulverston, and left the scene on December 13 2018.
The 23-year-old has been ordered to complete 120 hours unpaid work and pay £85 costs and a £85 surcharge.
He admitted failing to stop after damage was caused to property.
