Police are investigating an assault which took place in the early hours of the morning on February 15.
The incident involved two men and two women and took place at 2.20am on Dalton Road, Barrow
It is reported that a man, accompanied by a woman, approached another man and woman.
He then punched the woman in the face and kicked the man multiple times.
The man in question is described as a 6ft 2inches tall white male, with short dark hair and stubble.
He was wearing a grey jacket and jeans.
The female companion was said to have been wearing a red top.
The man and woman who were attacked suffered minor injuries.
