ENVIRONMENTALLY-conscious pupils from a Barrow primary school turned out in force for a community litter pick.
Mini police from Cambridge Primary School were joined by council officials and a local PSCO to clean up the streets around their school.
Head teacher Jenny Lavery said: “We see ourselves as part of the community and we want to be representative of the community. We want to show the children real change is possible through little actions like the litter pick."
