A NEW National Trust exhibition Telling Tales, opens on Saturday, at the Beatrix Potter Gallery in Hawkshead, which explores the enduring popularity of Beatrix’s characters and stories, and why they still play a part in lives across the globe today. Wandering through the quirky Beatrix Potter Gallery, visitors can get up close to more than 30 original Beatrix Potter illustrations, displayed alongside rarely seen items from the collection, which Beatrix left to the National Trust on her death. The team at the gallery will also be working in the new Conservation Hub on Fridays.
