SUPPORT: Members of Save Grange Lido with the Hairy Bikers
The Save Grange Lido team presented TV’s Hairy Bikers with matching aprons at their show in Barrow.
The gesture was to thank Barrow-born Dave Myers, who has backed the campaign to save the historic pool with a personal video message on Facebook.
Dave was a regular visitor to the Lido in his younger days, catching the train from Barrow.
He said: "The pool was amazing and when it closed 25 years it was a huge loss to the community. I have so many wonderful memories of my time there."
