A yellow wind warning has been issued by the Met Office covering Furness, South Lakeland and the rest of Cumbria from 12.15am until 3pm tomorrow (Saturday).
It says a spell of strong winds will push from west to east through the day, bringing potential travel disruption.
Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely and there cold be delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges.
