GUITARIST Eduardo Niebla's range of music is quite staggering, traversing the worlds of jazz, classical, and pop music, collaborating with such diverse partners as Craig David, Juno Reactor, sitar maestro Nishat Khan, and the highly regarded Dante Sring Quartet. TO CELEBRATE three decades of the release of the classic live album Bitter Suite, Hue and Cry hit the road for some special stripped back shows this year. For the special Bitter Suite 30th anniversary shows brothers Patrick and Gregory Kane will be celebrating the songs from Bitter Suite as well as all the Hue and Cry hits and classics in a piano and vocal show at The Forum at Barrow on Saturday, February 9 (7.30pm). POPULAR Cumbrian chamber choir The Wordsworth Singers and their inspirational musical director Mark Hindley return to the concert stage on Saturday (February 9, 7.30pm) at St George’s Church at Kendal, with Beware The Armed Man, a programme of music which pleads for peace in times of conflict. Pieces performed include the Missa L’homme armé by 16th Century Spanish composer Cristobal de Morales.
