A PENSIONER who got behind the wheel while unfit through drugs has been banned from driving for 18 months.
South Cumbria Magistrates Court heard Edward Dennis Dixon, 67, of Ruskin Avenue, Dalton-in-Furness, drove his Ford Fiesta on Parkhouse Road, Barrow, while under the influence. He was also fined £150, ordered to pay £400 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
