PUPILS at Victoria Infant School became Barrow's newest supermodels back in 1994 for a fashion parade held at the school.
Parents, staff and fellow pupils provided an appreciative audience as the latest clothing styles for the summer season went on show to help raise funds for the school.
The Mail, on Saturday, April 30, noted: "Although many of the youngsters were taking to the catwalk for the first time, it looks as though they could all give Naomi Campbell a run for her money.
"But glamour isn't everything and all of the budding modelling stars will be back in school uniform on Monday.
"The youngsters all wore clothes provided by Chicks, of Rawlinson Street, Barrow."
The fashion show by the school's parent teacher association raised £124.
