THE latest information shows that southbound remains closed on the M6 between junctions 42 and 41, but there are shorter delays northbound after a lorry overturned earlier today.
Traffic is now easing northbound with Highways England reporting that ‘traffic is now held for approximately 20 minutes’ to allow HGV’s to cross the road.

Both lanes remain closed Southbound between junctions 42 and 41. Southbound queues are backed up beyond junction 43.
Traffic continues to divert via A6.
