THE Holocaust will be remembered in Barrow at an event this week.
Barrow Trades Union Council will stage a night of readings, candle lighting and a film screening.
It will be held at Signal Film and Media's Cooke's Studios in Abbey Road on January 25.

Throughout the week there will be an exhibition at Barrow's library in Duke Street to remember the atrocity.
A project commissioned by the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust will show a timeline of the Holocaust, Nazi persecution and subsequent genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur through a display of harrowing photographs..
As well as this there will be testimonies and life stories from Holocaust survivors will be available to read.
The international Holocaust Memorial Day is on January 27.
