THEFT: Gucci perfume
A BARROW man has been ordered to carry out unpaid work after stealing perfume from a town centre store.
Darren Richard Fawcett, of Gradwell Court, pleaded guilty to one count of shoplifting when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court last Wednesday.
The 45-year-old stole Gucci perfume valued at £65 from Debenhams on December 27.
He must complete 60 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.
He was also ordered to pay £65 compensation and £85 court costs.
