A JOINERY firm in Barrow has gone into liquidation.

Barrow Central Joinery, based in the arches below Michaelson Road, has been voluntarily wound up by the firm's director Paul Bak.

Legal notices published in the London Gazette reveal that following a meeting on January 15 the limited company has now ceased trading.

The notice states: "The company be wound up voluntarily and that Richard Ian Williamson of Campbell, Crossley & Davis, Ground Floor, Seneca House, Links Point, Amy Johnson Way, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY4 2FF be appointed liquidator for the purposes of such voluntary winding up."

The company was incorporated in May 2002 by directors Paul Bak and Francis McDowall who also acts as company secretary.

The limited company has one charge against it; a debenture - a loan, with Nat West Bank.

The firm undertook all aspects of joinery work from fitting hardwood flooring to doing a full shop refit or installing a bespoke bar.
