FIREFIGHTERS tackled a chimney fire that broke out at a property in Barrow.
At around 3.30pm today, one fire engine from Barrow station attended a chimney fire on North Row in Roose.
To put the fire out firefighters had to use chimney gear and a hearth kit, as well as a thermal imaging camera.
Crews were at the scene for approximately forty-five minutes.
In a emergency residents should always call 999.
