A BARROW man has been remanded in custody after being charged with drug dealing offences.
Mark Alan Wells, of Low White Close, appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Thursday of last week.
The 42-year-old, who was represented in court by Trystan Roberts, is accused of supplying heroin on September 10, 12 and 20 of last year.
He is also accused of supplying crack cocaine on September 25 of last year and being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs heroin and crack cocaine between September 1 and October 20 of last year.
A bail application was made on his behalf but Wells was refused bail and remanded in custody.
Magistrates ruled the offences were so serious the case must be sent to the crown court.
Wells will appear at Preston Crown Court on February 7 when he will be expected to enter a plea to the six offences he has been charged with.
