THE spotlight falls on Barrow buses and trams at a talk and displays at the town's archive next week and to mark the event we are taking a look at images from the Mail's picture collection.
On Thursday, January 24, Geoff Holme will present more than 130 years on wheels — a look at public transport in Barrow by trams and buses.
The free event is from 7pm in the Barrow Archive Centre and will also feature material put together by archivist Susan Benson and displays and bus-related memorabilia from the Barrow Transport Group.

The Barrow Transport Group was formed in 1995 to preserve vehicles and raise interest, particularly in the former Barrow Corporation Transport.
