SPECSAVERS in Barrow has celebrated 25 years in the heart of the town.
The store’s director Julie Dixon, who has been with the store since its opening, marked the occasion with champagne and flowers.
Celebrating alongside Julie were other long-standing colleagues with a combined service of almost 75 years. Ian Fisher (lab manager) has been with Specsavers for 24 years, Andrea Wood (store manager) 18 years, Jill Ritson (optical assistant) 15 years and Caroline Roberts (assistant manager) 17 years.
"We continue to grow from strength to strength each year that passes, and we’re committed as ever to providing the best level of care for our customers," he said. "We’re proud to celebrate Specsavers’ contribution to the local community as well as thanking all of our customers for their support over the years."
