A MAN who caused more than £1,000 of damage to a window has been ordered to pay compensation.

Isaac Harrison, of Cameron Street, Barrow, admitted a charge of intending to destroy or damage property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates Court.

The 20-year-old caused £1182.72 at the National Probation Service, Barrow, on April 7 this year.

He was told to pay back the money at £20 every fortnight and was handed a 12 month conditional discharge.
