A PAWNBROKERS which relocated to Barrow's high street reopened yesterday.

Ramsdens, the popular value retail and financial services brand, opened its doors at 26 Portland Walk, having relocated from Cavendish Street.

To celebrate the opening, Ramsdens is offering customers a fantastic £10 off when they spend £100 or more on new and pre-owned jewellery – valid until Christmas Eve.

Peter Kenyon, chief executive of Ramsdens, said the offer was the perfect opportunity to buy loved ones a Christmas gift at a great price.

All customers need to do is ‘like’ the Ramsdens Facebook page and take proof when visiting the store.

Mr Kenyon said: “We’re delighted to welcome customers to the newly relocated Ramsdens branch in Portland Walk.

"The move means that we can now offer an even broader array of great value products to our customers, from jewellery and watches to competitive prices on foreign currency.”

Ramsdens has served more than 800,000 customers over the past financial year selling everyday products and services, including new and pre-owned jewellery and watches, travel money, pawnbroking, cheque cashing and gold buying.

Established in 1987, the brand has branches across Northern England, Scotland and Wales, with products and services also available online.

Catherine Stephens, store manager at Ramsdens Barrow, said: “It’s fantastic to be opening the doors of our new Barrow store, and relocating just in time for Christmas.

"Our sparkling launch offer on pre-owned and new jewellery is perfect for those who have left their Christmas shopping a bit late and want to get something special for a friend, family member, or loved one, and we’re looking forward to helping customers choose that perfect gift for Christmas - without breaking the bank.”
