A sign advertising the closure of the A595
MOTORISTS reported tonight that a planned closure on a major Cumbrian road began earlier than expected.
A sign along the A595 said the road was shut between Grizebeck and Broughton from tonight until Friday from 7pm-5am.
But motorists reported the road was actually shut at Lowick on the A5092, meaning a long detour via the A590 for people heading towards Broughton and Millom.
