A PERSON was flown to hospital after being hit by a lorry this morning.
Emergency services were called to the A591 at Prizet, near Kendal, at rush hour.

The road was closed for some time as a Great North Air Ambulance helicopter landed to take the person to Royal Preston Hospital.
There is no update on the person's condition.
