South Cumbria Magistrates' Court, Abbey Road, Barrow
A MAN has appeared in court accused of assaulting a teenager.
Curtis Gaughan, of Egerton Court, Barrow, elected for his case to be sent to crown court when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court, Barrow.
The 20-year-old has also been charged with possessing an offensive weapon - a hammer - on Greengate Street, Barrow, during the alleged assault on December 15 2017.
Mr Gaughan will next appear at Preston Crown Court on January 4 next year.
