THE latest person to receive The Mail’s Bouquet of the Week is a woman who has been thanked for offering a helpful ear to a number of horse lovers.

A queue of well-wishers lined up to praise Tamara Atkinson, of Green Garth Saddlery in Dalton, as she received the flowers at her shop in Ulverston road.

Nominating her for the bouquet, Leanne Taylor said: “Tamara has great experience of working with horses.

“Keeping and riding horses can be a hugely rewarding experience but also is a big responsibility and commitment.

“It can massively impact on you when things go wrong.

“Tamara has always supported and encouraged me and been so kind with her advice.

“I shop there whenever possible and she always asks how we are getting on - a very special lady that has helped with many different issues from hooves to hats.”
