Ginger Baker’s son Kofi Baker, Jack Bruce’s son Malcolm Bruce and Eric Clapton’s nephew (through marriage) Will Johns, are heading to the UK to pay homage to their rock relatives extraordinary legacy with their own tribute - The Music Of Cream: 50th Anniversary World Tour. The tour kicks off at Glasgow's St Luke's on Friday (November 23). Tickets are available via www.themjrgroup.com/moc50th/.
Having already received rave reviews in Australia, New Zealand and the US, The Music of Cream is primed to rock the nation, with the talented rock trio bringing the legendary and timeless music their family members created to the UK stage.
The three-date tour celebrates 50 years since the original Cream line-up's farewell UK concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London on November 26, 1968.
So for those going along be prepared to hear personal stories and songs such as Sunshine of Your Love, Crossroads, and White Room performed across a comprehensive set, which will also see Kofi (drums), Malcolm (bass, vocals) and Will (guitar, vocals) interplay with footage of their fathers and mentors on the big screen, along with never-before-seen footage and photos in a multi-media concert experience specially created to mark Cream's 50th.
