GROCER Sainsbury's has revealed it is considering delivering groceries to the Barrow area, The Mail can reveal.
The grocery retailer was quizzed on Twitter by a shopper who asked if the Kendal supermarket would be delivering to Barrow "anytime soon".
The shopper pointed out Sainsbury's already delivers to Ulverston but as of yet does not venture past Swarthmoor.
The response from Sainsbury's suggests the grocer is looking at delivering to Barrow.
They said: "We don't currently serve Barrow with our Groceries Online offer. However, we're looking into this and reviewing the area."
