A BOOK on Millom rugby club will be published by the end of the year.

‘Life through the years of the Northern Union’ is a comprehensive look at the history of the club, from its founding, to players from the club fighting in world war one and the split from the Rugby Union to the Northern Union Rugby League.

Described as a book that’s for sport fans and history lovers alike, it takes a deep dive into the club’s most important and defining moments.

Written by Millom resident Craig Evans, the book is currently available to pre-order for £12 through Facebook although numbers are limited.

The book is set to go on sale by the end of the month but no date has been set in stone at the moment.

Mr Evans previously published another book on the clubs early days in 2010.
