SHELDON Patricia Anne Richard Sheldon would like to thank all family and friends, both near and far, for the overwhelming number of sympathy cards, donations and Facebook messages received over the past week. A very special thanks to the Millom District Nurses, St Mary's Hospice at Home and Sue Rafferty of the FGH Palliative Care Unit for their superb care given to Pat, allowing her to remain at home throughout a most difficult time. These words are insufficient to describe my sincere gratitude and appreciation. Thanks also to Fr Mathew at Our Lady & St James' Church, Millom, and to Jack and everyone at Sheldon (Funeral Services) Ltd for the funeral arrangements which were a splendid tribute and everything that Pat deserved.
