TICKETS to see rock legend Rod Stewart and pop starlet Kylie Minogue perform in the north west go on sale today.

The two headliners will take to the stage at Lytham Festival as it celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2019 with its biggest line-up ever.

In a five day spectacular the two music heavyweights will be joined in the line-up by 80s synth-pop band The Human League and Hollywood Proms featuring Michael Ball and Sheridan Smith.

The 10th Anniversary festival will take place in the Main Proms Arena on Lytham Green from Wednesday July 10 until Sunday July 14 .

Individual tickets to each night went on sale at 9am today from www.lythamfestival.com.

Festival director Peter Taylor said: “We are incredibly excited with the line-up for 2019. It’s our 10th anniversary so we want to make it the biggest yet.

“Since we announced the line-up last week we’ve been inundated with requests for tickets. Our five-day passes went on sale as we announced and proved so popular, we’ve had to make more available.

“We’ve also seen a massive increase in the number of people signing up for our pre-sale, so it would seem the line-up is certainly incredibly popular with our audience as well as people who may not have been to Lytham previously.

“We’ve attracted some incredible stars from across the globe to Lytham since 2009 but we have wanted to bring both Rod Stewart and Kylie Minogue to Lytham Festival for some time, so we are delighted they can both headline for our 10th anniversary year.

“To also be welcoming the 80s legends that are The Human League, as well as Sheridan and Michael heading up what will be our Hollywood Proms night, is going to make this a stunning week.”
