PRINTFEST will return to Ulverston in 2017, and submissions from artists are being invited.

The renowned festival will take place on the early May bank holiday weekend, having taken a year out.

The aim is to provide artists with a cost-effective opportunity to exhibit their work in this beautiful part of the country and sell at affordable prices to the public.

In 2015, the Printfest weekend attracted almost 1,600 visitors with art sales of more than £49,000.

Printfest Ulverston is the UK’s foremost artist led printmaking festival. Founded in 2001, it is dedicated to the exhibition and sale of contemporary prints. It offers the opportunity to view and purchase art works, meet the artists and find out more about printmaking.
