THERE is nothing better than hitting a six on the cricket pitch.
As we start our second national lockdown The Mail is revisiting some of the games we’ve enjoyed in the past.
In 2015, the Barrow Indoor Cricket League was held at Furness College.
The game took place in a six a-side format in March.
Pupils and teachers took part in the cricket and for some of them it was their first time playing the game.
In August that year, Furness Cricket Club in Barrow learned new skills under the tutorage of Nathan Waterston for their upcoming games.
His experience who helped with the coaching session pass on new skills to some of the younger players.
The club achieved great success from these sessions throughout the year.
