ALL ABOARD for a trip down memory lane to some of the memorable events that have taken place in Furness' railway stations.
In 2010, The Duke of Gloucester steam train stopped at Barrow railway station. The engine was required to take on water at Barrow before continuing its journey.
In February that year, sniffer dogs were busy hunting down illegal substances in a joint operation by Barrow Police and the British Transport Police.
Also that year, local lollipop man Stephen Carruthers got to see a mural panels including a picture of himself.
In 2012, thousands flocked to the Haverthwaite Railway station at the weekend as Thomas the Tank stories came to life in the yard, under the watchful eye of Sir Topham Hat.
