THE show will always go on in Barrow.
We have dug deep into the archives to explore some of the memorable performances and music events over the years.
In 2014, The Walney Musical Theatre Company Youth Group’s production of Cats from The Forum was featured in The Mail.
In Christmas that year, the Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School in Barrow held their annual Christmas show before the pupils’ parents.
In 2015, The Mail reported on the St James School Choir performing at the South Cumbria Musical Festival at The Coronation Hall in Ulverston.
And the Floodtide Navigate project in Barrow Park, organised by Glenn Boulter, used sensor technology to generate musical notation from Barrow’s tidal flow when they performed in 2015.
