THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (C1012 AND C1030 NEAR ROWELTOWN AND HETHERSGILL) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2019
NOTICE IS H EREBY GIVEN that to enable Electricity North West Ltd to carry out utility works ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following lengths of road;
1. C1012 Roweltown from a point approx. 40m south west of its junction with the UI046, extending in a south westerly direction for approx. 80m;
A suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the unrestricted sections of the C1012 Koweltown and Hethersgill, A607I.CI0I3 (Walton) and the B63I8 Kirkcambeck. Duration: from 25 March 2019 for approx. 2 days.

2. C1012 Hethersgill, from its junction with the C1030 (Hethersgill cross roads), extending in a south westerly direction for approx. 40m; and
3. C1030 Hethersgill, from its junction with the C1012 (Hethersgill cross roads), extending in a southerly direction for approx. 50m; A suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the unrestricted section of the CIO 12 Hethersgill, A607I Smithfield, and the unrestricted section of the C1030. Duration: From 27 March 2019 for approx. 5 working days.

A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times and
Nothing in the Order to which this notice relates shall:
(i) Apply to emergency service vehicles, or vehicles being used by statutory undertakers in the performance of their duties; and
(ii) Apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; and
(iii) Have the effect of preventing at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the roads, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from the roads; and

The Order will come into operation on 25 March 2019 and may continue in force for a period of up to eighteen months from that date as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, although it is anticipated that it will only be required as stated above.
