LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 SECTION 123 (1), (2A) DISPOSAL OF PUBLIC OPEN SPACE - LAND OFF GREENHEYS CRESCENT TOTTINGTON BURY

Pursuant to section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972, The Metropolitan Borough of Bury hereby gives notice of its intention to dispose of four parcels of land off Greenheys Crescent, Tottington, Bury, BL8 4QD covering a total area of approximately 2,740 square metres by way of granting a 99 year lease to the Friends of Huntfold. The Friends of Huntfold will continue to maintain the land as open space for use by the general public.

A copy of the plans showing the position of the land in question are available for inspection at the 3 Knowsley Place Duke Street, Bury, BL9 OEJ. This is a formal notice given insofar as the above described parcels of land consists or forms part of an open space for the purposes of section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972.

addressed to Property Services Department at 3 Knowsley Place Duke Street, Bury,

BL9 OFJ.or by email to p.aungier@bury.gov.uk to be received by no later than

4 January 2018.
