ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY(ACRESBROOK WALK/BIRCHEN BOWER WALK, TOTTINGTON) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2019 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Acresbrook Walk/Birchen Bower Walk, Tottington - Temp Closure. The closure is in place to enable repair works to gas mains. Diversion route is not applicable.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (KAY STREET BRIDGE, SUMMERSEAT) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2019 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles, cycles or horses from proceeding along:-

Full extent of Kay Street Bridge, Summerseat (Bridge over the River Irwell between Waterside Road and Kay Street)

The reason for the proposed order is to enable contractors to carry out remedial works on a bridge damaged by flooding.

The alternative route will be via Manchester Road, Bury New Road, Bridge Street,

Bolton Street, Bolton Road West and Longsight Road and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into operation on Thursday 21 November 2019 and

shall remain in force for a period of up to 18 months.

of Lowe St to a point 20m south of the southerly kerbline of Lowe St

Pilkington Rd, Radcliffe - west side, from a point 10m north of the projected

northerly kerbline of Lowe St for a distance of 23m in a southerly direction

Lowe St, Radcliffe - both sides, from the east kerbline of Pilkington Rd for a

distance of 10m in an easterly direction

Coronation Rd, Radcliffe - both sides, from the west kerbline of Pilkington Rd for a distance of 20m in a westerly direction

A copy of the draft Order (including the exemptions contained within it), a plan showing the roads and area affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be inspected at the reception desk at the address below during normal office hours.

Objections to the proposals, together with the grounds on which they are made must be made in writing and sent to Highway Network Management, 3 Knowsley Place, Duke St, Bury, BL9 0EJ or by email to traffic(a).burv.gov.uk quoting reference TM2/19/459 by 06/12/19. Dated 14/11/19
