THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (UI502 AND UI053 LOW ROW, NEAR BRAMPTON) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2019
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable TK Gallagher to carry out works for new connections ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following lengths of road;
1. U1502 Low Row from its junction with the U1053, extending in a south westerly direction for approx. 90m;
There is no suitable alternative route available for vehicles; and
2. UI053 Low Row from a point approx. 30m south east of its (unction with Stanegate Way, extending in a south easterly direction for approx 90m;
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the U1053 U1051, CI025 (The Swartle), A607I, A69 and the CI023. A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
1Nothing in the Order to which this notice relates shall:
(i) Apply to emergency service vehicles, or vehicles being used by statutory undertakers in the performance of their duties; and
(ii) Apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; and
(iii) Have the effect of preventing at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the roads, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from the roads; and

The Order will come into operation on 2 September 2019 and may continue in force for a period of up to eighteen months from that date as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, although it is anticipated that ft will only be required for 5 days.
